Our Founder
Mr. BNS Mudaliar, a seasoned Mechanical engineer with 40 years of expertise in Steam Turbine Manufacturing, Spare Parts, Overhauling, and Trouble Shooting. Specializes in steam turbine alignment, Vibration Analysis, Dynamic Balancing, refurbishing, and troubleshooting turbines up to 25 MW.
Began at Aeronautical Development Agency, Bangalore, excelling due to hard work and engineering skills.
At Turbine OEM and Industries Limited, rose through ranks, overseeing turbine manufacturing. Left Triveni in 1985, started entrepreneurial journey focusing on turbine spares design, overhaul, and manufacturing. Founded Karthik Engineers in Bangalore in 1986, becoming a full-fledged manufacturing unit catering to turbine owners. Throughout challenges, Mr. Mudaliar has been the guiding force.

After our founder complete his engineering, he started his career by joining Aeronautical Development Agency, Bangalore as Trainee Engineer. He rose to different ranks in ADA due to his sheer hard work and engineering skills. At ADA, he was mentored by his seniors in handling different capacities ably which became his guiding principles later in his career. In 1976, He joined Triveni Engineering and Industries Limited, Peenya (Now Triveni Turbines) to oversee their turbine manufacturing plant operations. Due to his fast learning and technical capabilities he was promoted to various designations in his 10 year stay at the company.
In 1985, he resigned from TEIL and along with his colleagues started his 1st entrepreneurial journey in designing, overhauling and manufacturing of turbine spares. Owing to differences with his partners sold his stake in 1986. In 1986, he started his 2nd entrepreneur journey by starting Karthik Engineers in Bangalore with full-fledged manufacturing unit to cater to the needs all turbine owners. He has been the guiding light thru all the initial hardships and several ups and downs the company had to go thru.
